steps for ordering
1. order samples
All computer displays differ in how they portray color, so we strongly recommend ordering samples before placing your order to be sure of what your chosen paper and ink colors will look like in print. When you order your letterpress pieces within 60 days of ordering samples, we’ll apply the amount (up to $10) toward your order total. Win-win!
2. place your customized stationery order
Ready to go? Fill out our online order form to get the process started! If you prefer, you can also contact us and we'll walk you through the process. You will have the option of paying your $250.00 non-refundable deposit online with a credit card or by check; this deposit is required before we begin customizing your design.
3. review your proof(s)
Once we receive your order and deposit, we will email a digital proof to you within three business days. At this time, you should carefully review and proofread each piece and keep track of any changes that may need to be made. If revisions are required, please send us an email with your changes and we will make the adjustments you request within two business days. A total of two proofs are included with each order.
4. send us your approval and final payment
When your order is ready to print, send us your approval via email and move forward with the payment of your balance. (We will send you an invoice for your balance that will include shipping & handling charges.) When your final approval and balance payment are received, your order will be sent to production.
5. receive your order
In three to four weeks of sending your approval and balance payment, your pieces will be printed, inspected, carefully packaged and shipped to you. Get excited — your big day is getting even closer!
The design process is typically completed in one to two weeks; your response time after receiving proofs will impact the timing accordingly. Once we receive your final approval and your balance has been paid in full, your order is sent to production and will be shipped in three to four weeks (not including any major holidays). Please note that orders with envelope liners may require an additional week for completion.
All US orders are shipped from the Philadelphia metropolitan area via FedEx Ground; if you require expedited shipping, please let us know when placing or signing off on your order. Shipping charges are not included in invitation pricing and will be included on your final invoice ($20 for Ground orders within the continental US; additional fees may apply to orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, and outside the US). International shipping may be subject to customs fees.
If you are short on time when ordering your letterpress pieces, please inquire about a possible rush order. Depending on our workload, production schedule, and the complexity of your job, we will do our very best to accommodate you. Additional charges may apply for rush orders.
